The PUNKTCEHA 12 is a regional scout camp with about 2500 participants between 10 and 17 years, which takes place from 15th to 27th July in the east of Switzerland, in a beautiful rural area near Niederhelfenschwil.

A multifaceted and rich program is waiting for children and youngsters. The camps’ motto is Switzerland with all its aspects. The subcamps will represent the different regions of our country which have to take up some challenges.

The inhabitants of the Grisons for example have to protect their national park against greedy investors which want to open a futuristic amusement park. The people from central Switzerland have to build a modern reproduction of Lucerne’s famous Chapel Bridge because woodworms are eating through the original. The Bernese Oberland is fed up with its traditional image of mountains, cows and wooden chalets and tries to modernize their region radically. As a part of the French Swiss vineyards burnt down, a theme park should become a new source of income for the wine-growers. And in the Ticino, the locals pestered with all the crowds of tourists, Mafiosi, fuel companies and other interest groups are arguing about the future of their area.

Beside this theme program, there is of course enough time for typical scout activities as well and there are a lot of possibilities to discover the environment on hikes and trips.

The foreign groups will have a local partner group and spend part of the program with them. But during the camp, we will also offer our guests some special activities.
